| KRATKA VSEBINA | Every business is a unique live organism evolution of which is based on general evolution principles. That means, that within a live cycle it is possible to recognise basic phases includingbirth, growth, maturity and decline. The decline phase is often connected to business crises. There is a number of management theory and strategic management methods which are useful for recognition and diagnosis of a crisis, The methods include STEP analysis, Porter's model, strategic mapping, portfolio analysis, SPACE analysis, SWOT analysis and business behaviour models. Business crisis solution requires skilled management capable of using the above methods, timely reaction to any lagging behind acquisition and use of resources in comparison with external environment, and an art of an maintaining balance between external and internal environment of a business. |
