KRATKA VSEBINASestavek obravnava menedžment kot pomembno kategorijo oseb, ki jo je treba obravnavati z različnih družboslovnih vidikov. Z vidika prava gre za osebe, ki so v različnih organizacijskih oblikah z različnimi akti pooblaščene, da odločajo o ravnanju drugih oseb. Njihove naloge in aktivnosti so sestavljene iz poklicnega dela in iz izvrševanja zaupane jim funkcije. Razmerje med poklicnim delom in funkcijo je odvisno od ravni, na kateri menedžer opravlja svoje naloge. Vrhnji menedžerji so nosilci poslovodne funkcije v organizacijah. V tej vlogi zastopajo delodajalce pri kolektivnih pogajanjih in pri sklepanju kolektivnih pogodb. Pri tem je pomembno, da celovito obvladujejo razmerja zobema vrstama delavskih predstavništev, to je, s sindikati in delavskimi voljenimi predstavništvi. Pomembne so njihove pobude za sporazumno urejanjerazmerij med delodajalcem, ki ga zastopajo ter med zaposlenimi. Kakovost zakonske ureditve kolektivnih pogajanj in dogovarjanja v organizacijah lahko pomembno prispeva k učinkovitosti njihovih prizadevanj v tej smeri. Kritični pogled na obstoječi sistem kolektivnega sporazumevanja je zato koristen tudi z vidika možnosti za uresničevanje vloge menedžerjev na tem področju. // The contribution deals with management as an important category of persons which needs to be considered from different aspects of social science. From the view of the law, it concerns persons which are in different organizational forms and by different acts authorized to decide on the conduct of other persons. Their tasks and activities are composed ofprofessional work and of the performance of their function that was entrusted to them. The relation between the professional work and the function depends on the level at which a manager performs his tasks. Top manages are holders of the executive function in organizations. In this role they represent employers in collective negotiations and collective agreement making. Concerning such, it is important that they entirely master the relations with both types of workers' representatives, i.e. withtrade unions and representatives elected by workers. Their initiatives to regulate by agreement relations between the employer whom they represent and the employees are very important. The quality of the statutory regulation of collective negotiations and agreement making in organizationscan importantly contribute to the effectiveness of their efforts in this direction. Thus, a critical view on the existing system of collective agreement making is useful also from the aspect of possibilities for the realization of the role of managers in this area.
