| KRATKA VSEBINA | V članku izhajamo iz predpostavke, da verodostojnost sodobnega novinarstva izvira iz mita novinarske objektivnosti in da se je ta mit spreminjal s spreminjanjem zgodovinskega in kulturnega konteksta. Kot metodološki okvir analize mita novinarske objektivnosti postavljamo revizijo koncepta mita Rolanda Barthesa in ga združujemo s sodobnimi pristopi v medijskih in novinarskih študijah. Analizo mita novinarske objektivnosti izpeljemo skozi prizmo zgodovinske dejstvenosti in aktualne strukturne dejstvenostjo. V prvem delu analize z diahronim prerezom pojasnujemo spreminjanje strukture: od vznika objektivnosti v novinarski skupnosti in diskurzu na začetku dvajsetega stoletja do njenega reproduciranja v novinarski dejavnosti ter komunikacijskih, medijskih in novinarskih študijah v naslednjih desetletjih. V drugem delu analize s sinhronim prerezom predstavimo delovanje mita novinarske objektivnosti v vseh fazah novinarskega sporočanjskega procesa in poskušamo razložiti (samo)organizacijo, (samo)razumevanje in branje novinarstva v trenutnem zgodovinskem in kulturnem kontekstu. V članku dokažemo, da se mit izraža v prepletanju novinarskega diskurza z dóksa v vsakokratnem kontekstu. Mit novinarske objektivnosti se tako prilagaja razmerjem oblasti/moči v času in prostoru, a v jedru ostaja enak - nepopoln, zato lahko v (i)zbiranje informacij in upovedovanje novinarskih sporočil s svojim izražanjem vnaša bistvo - novinarskost. // The article derives from the presumption that the credibility of contemporary journalism is based on the myth of journalisticobjectivity and that this myth has been changing together with the historical and cultural context. The methodological framework is grounded on a revision of Roland Barthes' concept of the myth and its merger with contemporary approaches in media and journalism studies. The analysis of the myth of journalistic objectivity is performed through the prism of historical factuality and actual structural factuality. In the first part of the analysis, a diachronic cut reveals the changeability of the structure: from the birth of objectivity in the journalistic community and discourse at the beginning of the twentieth century through to its reproduction in journalistic practice and in media and journalistic studiesin the next few decades. In the second part of the analysis a synchronous cut reveals how myth of journalistic objectivity operates in all phases of the journalistic communication process and attempts to interpret the (self-)organisation, (self-)understanding and perception of journalism in the contemporary historical and cultural context. The article proves that the myth is expressed in the permeation of journalistic discourse with dóxain a specific context. The myth of journalistic objectivity is adapted to power relations in time and space, but at its core it is the same -incomplete, therefore, in gathering, selecting and producing news the mythis able to bring the essence - of journalistic-ness. |
