KRATKA VSEBINA | Projekt Beremo s knjižničarko je trajal dve šolski leti in je bil izveden v sodelovanju šolske in splošne knjižnice. Namenjen je bil učencem 8. razreda OŠ Antona Janše v Radovljici, osnovne šole s prilagojenim programom, kjer so zbrani učenci s specifičnimi učnimi težavami, motnjo branja in motnjo v duševnem razvoju. Vsak mesec so (sami) doma prebrali izbrano knjigo. Sprva jim je knjižničarka izbirala enostavne in kratke zgodbe, kasneje jih je odpeljala med police, kjer so sami izbirali med zahtevnejšimi knjigami. Ko so knjigo prebrali, so skupaj z učiteljico prišli v splošno knjižnico, kjer so sodelovali v kvizu. Za vsakoprebrano knjigo so v šoli prejeli nalepko. Te so skrbno lepili na poseben plakat pred razredom. Ob koncu šolskega leta so pripravili razstavo, kjer so ostalim učencem predstavili, kaj so prebrali in katere teme so posebej obravnavali še pri pouku. Tako razred kot vsak posameznik je prejel nagrado. Učenci so s projektom spoznali, da branje in obisk knjižnice ni zgolj nujna šolska obveznost, ampak tudi zabavno preživljanje prostega časa. Vživeli so se v svet knjig, si oblikovali bralni okus in začeli posegati po knjigah, primernih njihovi starostni skupini. // The project "Let's Read Together with our Librarian" has been realized in collaborationwith school and public libraries during the past two years. It was designedfor pupils attending the 8th grade of Anton Janša Primary School,a school specializing in children with specific learning problems, dyslexia, and mental development disorders. Every month the pupils read one book at home independently. The course began with some plain short texts chosen by the librarian; later the pupils were encouraged to choose advanced reading books from the bookshelves by themselves. After having read, the pupils went to the public library together with their teacher, where they tookpartin a quiz. For every book they have read they received a sticker, which they attached to a poster in front of their classroom. At the end of the school year they prepared an exhibition where the books they had read and some issues from their reading were presented to the other children in the school. Every class and every individual pupil in the project received a reward. Due to this project the pupils realized that reading is more than amere school duty, moreover, that it is an amusing way of spending their spare time. They were introduced to the world of books, modified their reading taste, and began to reach for books more appropriate to their age. |
