V drugem delu podajam kratko fenomenologijo prevajanja nekaterih - osmih - temeljnih besed Aristotelove Metafizike, in sicer: kategorija, bit in bivajoče, tò hypokeímenon - subjekt, idéa/eîdos - pralik/oblika, choristón - bivajoče po sebi, tò tí ên eînai - bistvenost, lógos in akcidenca - symbebekós. // Translating basic Greek philosophical works is in many things uncomparable with translation of the works of modern European philosophers. Therefore in the first part I discuss Vico's theory of language in his 'Princìpi di scienza nuova', and then argue for Heidegger's theory of translating which confronts us with the fact of the untranslatability of basic philosophical words. In the second part I propose a short phenomenology of translating some - eight - fundamental notions of Aristotle's Metaphysics into Slovene, namely: category, being, beings, substance, tò hypokeímenon - underlying thing, idéa/eîdos - idea/species, choristón - separable, tò tí ên eînai - essence, lógos - definition, ratio, symbebekós - the accidental. Translating of classical philosophical texts is always a research of the linguistic capacities of our own language. |
